DBZ Imperial Electric Guitar

July 7th, 2009

A brand new guitar is on the market from DBZ guitars. Its called " The Imperial " and designer Dean Zelinsky featured in the video below is the designer and this time he has created a beauty of a guitar. Its only 5/8 of an inch thick and it has a very natural tone. I cant get over how damn thin the thing is!

It reminds me a bit of a PRS, what do you think?

its a complete solid body. Here is what he had to say about it

"The Imperial is a guitar that I thought about early on in my career — I've always wanted to build this guitar. When you play this guitar acoustically, it has natural reverb-like qualities — it's like one big sounding board that just vibrates and resonates," says DBZ founder and CEO Dean Zelinsky. "It's an extremely alive guitar, and if you're looking for a guitar that takes you to extremes and puts you in the moment, it doesn't get any better than the Imperial. Rock, Jazz, Blues and Country players will agree that this baby begs to be played. The Imperial is the most versatile guitar I have designed in my 32-year history."

  • It certainly has the best qualities of a Gibson or PRS but with Dean Zelinsky’s unique spin on it. Simply put, it’s just killer.

  • Wow… This guitar seems nice. Indeed the top reminds a PRS axe but the shape is rather different. I like it!! :-)
