I've been into Derek Trucks for a few years now and he never ceases to amaze me with his unique approach and sound. He just mixes together all of his influences (which seem to be many) and it comes out like everything and nothing that you've ever heard before, all at the same time. He was a great pleasure to experience live in a small club, everyone stood up to watch him every time he soloed. It looked like a room full of guitarists looking for tips from the master.

P.S. This is a great blog that you have here.

What pure talent. Tone, phrasing... something that is all but lost in music today. Thanks for posting this!
