I thought I would take a look at another company. You may have come across them before but they are new to me. They are called " Eventide " they deal in a whole variety of products such as..

The company came together in 1971, so they have been around a while. They are based in Little Ferry, NJ and they apparently created their first digital logging recorder in 1989 and Harmonizer in 1987.
