Guild has been around since 1953 building guitars which people love. They cater to the acoustic guitar market but I wonder if somewhere down the line they will introduce guild electric guitars like Taylor did recently.

- I’ve been playing most of my adult life sometimes seriously sometimes not. I have two Martins D-28 and D-1R, two Gibsons the aforementioned J-45 and a seventies J-40 and this Guild will hold its own with anyone of them. I was never a real Guild fan till I played this one, I think its the best sounding Guild acoustic I have ever played and if it was lost or stolen I would try to get another one but not one of the California ones.

- I have been playing for about 4 years and decided to upgrade to this instrument. Played many others and for the price, this guitar looks and sounds the best. It sounded and played comparable to Taylors costing 2X as much.
