Jonny Lang is one heck of a guitar player, while he has changed his style to more of a soul / stevie wonder style. His older blues stuff was magic.

His Fender Custom Shop Thinline has a P-90 in the middle and Bill Lawrence blade humbuckers at neck and bridge.
I’m a huge ‘72 Thinline fan, but don’t like Fender’s new humbuckers in the re-issues. They look the same as the old ones, but are different inside.
So, if you buy a Re-issue, throw some Bill Lawrences in it like they did for Jonny Lang.

Hey cool I wasnt aware of that.. i noticed he had a slighty different setup, the sound he gets from is mean
