V-Picks designs various guitar picks and they have just come out with a new type called Diamond Guitar Picks

Apparently after a lot of feedback from guitarists they went in and created this type which is easy for holding, very thick and is clear.

Vinni Smith made them its similar to the medium vpick but is 3.75mm thick.. it helps give a nice warm bluesy tone

Fender has come out with a new signature guitar called the Billy Corgan Signature Stratocaster

this is what billy had to say about it..

I think what’s difficult for people in this modern culture, with such high-gain rock application, is understanding how to play a style that expresses their individual personality and yet still keeps them sort of within the sound that’s current, which is very, very high-gain. And what I’ve worked with Fender to try to do is to create an instrument that will both allow the individualistic expression at a very high level… and at the same time allow your personality to shine through and play high-gain rock, which I think Fender’s been a little behind the curve in addressing.

There is no word on price right now but the body will be made from alder, maple beck and the frets will go up to 22 and be jumbo. it will use a 70s large headstock and logo

The London Guitar show of 2008 is coming up on June 12th - 15th, this is going to be amazing as there is lots of guitar players there including Joe Satriani and billy sheehan.

Tickets will cost 13 pounds for exhibition, Joes show willbe 15 pounds
