Hey well word has it that The Eternal, Sonic Youth has joined up with Fender to create two cool guitars. The Lee Ranaldo Signature and Thurston Moore Jazzmaster guitars and coming July 1st 2009 they will be available.

Fender have been notorious for bringing out remakes of guitars, with worn looks. I.E The Stevie Ray Vaughn One.
They have recently come out with a new series of guitars based on the 1950 and 60s fenders. These are Road Worn instruments due to the look of them
