Back in the 1960s a lot of experimenting was going on with distortion and well it really changed music both in rock and the blues arena. There were numerous methods used by bands such as slitting the front of their amps to get that classic fuzz sound until people realized how to overdrive their main amp with a hot signal from a preamp

What tonebug has done is it has gathered together that classic rock sound and using a gain knob it lets you choose how dirty youw ant the sound to be from heavy distortion through to a muted blues crunch.
